A delicious "red gravy" that compliments turkey meatballs, spaghetti squash, zucchini or eggplant dishes. Ready in minutes using crushed tomatoes.

INGREDIENTS:
28 oz can crushed tomatoes
8 oz can plain tomato sauce
4 cloves minced garlic
1 Tbsp crushed dry basil
1 Tbsp crushed dry oregano
1 tsp onion powder
1 tsp sugar
2 bay leafs
DIRECTIONS:
In a large pot over medium heat, add about 2 Tbsp EVOO (extra virgin olive oil)
and the minced garlic. Cook and stir frequently until fragrant, but not browned. About 1 or 2 minutes max.
Add remaining ingredients, reducing heat to low. Stir, cover and simmer for 20-30 minutes. Stir occasionally while simmering. Remove bay leafs and serve.
