Guacamole

Easy, tasty guacamole can be kept simple to use on toast or made chunky style as a topping to your favorite Mexican dish, as a dip using tortilla chips or even fresh veggies. Yum!


INGREDIENTS:

- 2 avacados, peeled and pitted

- 2 or 3 cloves garlic, peeled and

minced

- 1/3 yellow onion, finely diced

- 1 roma tomato, diced

- 1 fresh lime, juiced

- 1/8 tsp salt, optional (we watch

sodium intake and it tastes fine

without it.)


DIRECTIONS:

In a medium sized bowl, mash the avacados with a fork for a couple minutes. Squeeze in the lime juice and optional salt. Add in all or as few remaining ingredients as you like and mix well until fully incorporated. You can also use a food processor. Serve right away or cover and chill in the refrigerator.
