Cooked, tender apples and onions make a great side dish that compliments lean, center cut pork chops or chicken breasts. It takes only a few minutes to prepare.
INGREDIENTS:
- 2 apples, sliced thin (honey crisp
or red delicious works well)
- 2 small onions, sliced thin
- 2 Tblsp extra virgin olive oil
- 1/4 tsp rosemary
- 1/4 tsp marjoram
- 1/4 tsp thyme
- 1/4 tsp sage
DIRECTIONS:
Mix all ingredients in a medium sized bowl.
Place mixture in the center of a 12 x 14 sheet of heavy duty aluminum foil.
Fold and crimp the top and sides around the mixture to create a packet.
Grill over medium-low heat for approximately 10 minutes. Flip over and continue to grill for 10 additional minutes.
